New Study: Bigger Sizes = Happier Women
We’re so excited to announce the news–bigger gals are actually happier gals. Yay! So, if you’re one of those women who think you’d be on top of the world if you looked like Kate Moss, forget it! According to a new study conducted by U.K. retailer Littlewoods.com, of 2,000 women, 74% of them who wore a size 16 (or US size 12) were happy with their appearance–double that of the 42% of women who wear a size 6 (US size 2). We feel better already.
Additionally, 52% of women of the skinny-minis would actually like to be curvier. They believe it makes them more attractive and one in four say they’d be more confident with their looks.
Looks like Sofia Vergara, Beyonce, Kim K., Adele, and Queen Latifah are today’s icons of beauty.
Scientists from Helmholtz Zentrum München, reported their findings last month in the International Journal of Public Health.
Confirming the hypothesis, that women’s mental well-being seemed to improve with weight gain.
